Like the T598 there are no details as to the changes in the new model. Just two were built with one going to the US and fitted with a Brabham-VW engine, the other being retained for Thundersports with the same driver pairing of Mike Blanchet and Bob Juggins as had been used with the T594C. Used in 1985 and 1986 two third place were the best finishes, both at Brands Hatch, and in 1989 Lola sold the car and it raced again in the final year of Thundersports with Patrick Smyth and Kim Mather driving.
