David Pratley tells us:
The cars and owners left to right are;
Tim Reid BR-7, Robin Longdon BR-29, Nick Finburgh BY-1, Keith Ahlers Prototype, and Peter Adams BR-32.
They were entered in the Madgwick Cup on 6th September for sports racing cars under 2.5 litres raced between 1955 and 1960.
Although they were the smallest engined cars in the field, Billy Bellinger, driving the 1958 Prototype and Nick Finburgh, driving Peter Adams car that won the last race at Goodwood in 1966, staged a great battle for second place which eventually went to the older car. They were only beaten by a Lotus XI which is allowed to compete with a 36% larger engine.
