Neil tells us about the race:
"The first CER Championship race at Paul Ricard has provided a great start to the year. After Qualifying we sat at P4 in the Proto 1 (66-71) class with plenty left in reserve. The car has been running very strongly and we chose to let the race develop in front of us and pull a great pitstop and then pace the rest of the hour. It was our first race here against the experienced french pilots but we managed P2 in class even though a big Porsche 935 with poor driver vision failed to spot the T212 taking the tight line round 'Le Beausset'..... Not too much damage and after some concentrated prep we will be ready and waiting for the next round at Spa!!! In the other class - P2, Lola cars were also 1st and 3rd along with the the 1st and 2nd in P1!! This combined with the LMS results in the current cars makes for a big Lola success at Paul Ricard last weekend!!"
Neil would like to thank: Phil Clark, my Mechanic and David and Lorraine Gathercole at DG Racing for our FVC engines.
