Hello from New Zealand,
We run a ‘F5000 only’ race series [the only one in the world] in Australasia called the Tasman Revival Series. It is run over 5 meetings and attracts grids of between 15 and 30 F5000’s. The crowds love these cars. Over half of our grids are Lola’s. We are expecting at least 3 cars from the UK to join us early 2008 and we are currently determining the viability of a return visit to the UK later in 2008. 2008 represents the 40 th Anniversary of F5000. We are planning to celebrate this with some major events. We would like to set up an area in the pits to promote/celebrate these cars and their anniversary. One of the things we’d like to do is have a DVD playing on a TV a continuous loop of archival footage of F5000’s from the 70’s.
I wish to emphasise that this would be for promotional purposes, not for commercial use.
Getting such footage is not proving to be simple so if any visitors to your website can help by contributing film or video we will be enormously grateful.
Any viewers able to help Tony may contact him via the Lola Heritage website at; gerald.swan@lola-cars.co.uk.

Tony Richards is a committee member of the NZ F5000 Association and fortunate enough to be the owner/driver of a 1974 Lola T332. Tony sent some information on forthcoming events together with a selection of recent photos from New Zealand events.
