The new owner of HU09 is Alain DeBlandre who is racing the car in the Euroboss series, it is still in its original livery and number, the picture above was taken at the Nürburgring on June 28, 2008.
Originally this car was sponsored by Labatt’s Breweries and driven in the 1989 CART season by John Jones, a Canadian racer from Thunder Bay, Ontario who also drove a Lola T87/50 in the 1987 F3000 International Championship in 1987. It finished 11th at the Indy 500 that year.
