T70 SL73/108 was originally constructed as a Spyder and is owned by Nick Sleep and looked after by Martin Stretton who shares the driving with Nick.
Nick tells us:
"We now know that 73/108 was owned by “Woody” Young (under the BARC/BARF Young Racing Team banner) and raced by Bill Eve in 1967 in the USRRC at Watkins Glen and Kent, before being sold to Marvin Webster who entered the car in CanAm with Bill Eve driving throughout 1968. (By the way Woody died of pneumonia following cancer surgery in July 67, which is why the car was sold). The car was then converted into a coupe.
We have been racing with CER1, Masters and at the Le Mans Classic."
