SL70/3 is now owned by Myles Poulton who purchased it from Alex Thistleway at the end of 2022. The car was supplied to John Mecom who was Lola's North American agent, it was entered under the John Mecom Racing banner for the pairing of John Cannon and Jack Saunders in the 1965 Sebring 12 Hours where it retired. From then on Walt Hangsen took over, racing in USRRC events for Mecom, with a best finish of second at the Las Vegas Stardust GP.
Hansgen then wrote-off SL70/3 during practice for the Players 200 at Mosport Park and it remained unrepaired until it was restored in 1973
