The new owner of SL71/44 is David Jacobs who tells us:
"I recently purchased SL71/44 Mark II, that was lying in bits for 20 years or so in Colorado, owned by Nick Rose. He bought it from Chuck Haines. This is, as I understand it, the no. 98 car that Parnelli Jones raced in 1966, and that is listed in the John Starkey book.
The car has just been rebuilt with most of the original tub, and many of the original suspension parts, by Lilo Buezeron, in California."
