T644E HU09 left the Lola factory as a rolling chassis in February 1984 and was sold to Malcolm McKillop who raced in the regional BRSCC Mallory Park Championship.
Current owner of HU09 is Ian Bisman who bought the car approximately 10 years ago after it was imported to New Zealand. He has raced it with some success including winning the South Island Formula Ford Club class 2 championship in 2000. Ian says this regional championship is keenly contested by Formula Fords of all ages with average grids of 20 cars.
