T600 HU4 which is now owned by James Ferro was supplied to Carl Haas (as Lola's North American agent) for John Paul in May of 1981 to compete in that season's IMSA Championship.
The chassis was fitted with a Chevrolet engine and debuted at the 200 Mile race at Mid-Ohio at the end of May, entered by J.L.P. Racing it qualified 8th but retired in the race. The chassis raced in six events that year (see results below) with a best finish of third at "100 mile Sears Point" with John Paul Jr. at the wheel.
The team continued to use the car in 1982 sharing race duties with a Porsche 935, the chassis used depending on the circuit. The T600 proved successful winning at Laguna Seca in May and taking second at Lime Rock. 1983 saw the John Paul team start the season with HU4 finishing second at the GP of Miami before selling the car to Kalagian Ardisana and it continued to race between until 1986 but it was now outdated and results fell away.
The chassis was fully restored in March 2018 by the Pabst Racing team.
