Alain-Gérard Duthé is the new owner of T594 HU83C which is one of only two T594s built to the C Sports specification.

It raced in the Thundersport Championship between 1983 and 1986, powered by a VW engine It was first raced by Mike Blanchett and Phil Dowsett finishing third on its debut at the penultimate race of the 1983 series at Donington and retired at the final round at Brands Hatch with engine problems.

For 1984 Mike Blanchett teamed up with Bob Juggins, they began the season well taking 3rd at round 2 (Brands Hatch) and things got better at Donington for round 4 where the Zerox Copy Centre/Abbey Farm Racing car came second. A third at Snetterton for round 7 and a 4th and 5th at Oulton Park and Brands Hatch were the remaining highlights of the season.

1985 saw the car move to the Demon Tweeks Racing with Triple 'C' Magazine team and Alan Minshaw and Tony Hill took over driving duties. The new team finished 6th in the opening round at Oulton Park. They missed round 2 and retired in round 3 at Thruxton. The team missed most of the remaining rounds and those they did take part in weren't successful. For the Brands Hatch round 6 Jeremy Rossiter replaced Alan Minshaw in the driving seat.

The car appeared once again at round 5 of the 1986 championship at Donington. Entered by Demon Tweeks Racing and driven again by Alan Minshaw and Tony Hill, HU83C finished 11th but that would prove to be its only appearance of the year.

It was then garaged for 23 years not raced, until Alain-Gérard restored the chassis for Historic Racing.
