Colin Haste, owner of T560 HU1 tells us of the history of his car:
"Lola T560 HU1 was first purchased by Jerry Hansen in the USA from Carl Haas. Jerry Hansen owned the car for twelve months and raced in SCCA events with a deal of success before it was sold to Bruce Clark who owned and raced the car also with a deal of success. Bruce had a large shunt at a meeting when he was about to sell the car. The wreck was bought by Jerry Hansen’s mechanic and after being sold on a couple of times and rebuilt it was sold to Dr Michael Henderson of Sydney Australia in 1994.
I purchased the car off Michael, a friend, in 1999 and raced it in historic events till I had a large shunt at Sandown Park in Victoria. The car suffered substantial tub and other damage. Over the past few years I have built a new tub and in fact the whole back to new and it is presented in the livery that Bruce Clark ran."
