The ex-Team VDS Can-Am Lola-Chevrolet T530 chassis HU4 is now owned by Paul Saurer in the US and he outlines its ownership history:
"This car was sold to Racing Team VDS in February 1980, and delivered on or about April 1980. Driven in 1980 by Geoff Brabham after T530 chassis HU3 destroyed in July. Continued to be raced by Geoff Brabham in 1981 until VDS-001 was ready.
Rex Ramsey purchased car in 1982. Called "Ramsey Solution", he raced it until until October, when it was damaged at Laguna Seca and has not raced since. The car was sold to Mike McComas and Bill Butler in Pampa, Texas in 1988. The car was then sold to Paul Sauer, Woodside CA, in disassembled form, on November 4, 1989. It remains in the disassembled condition as of October 2020, with tub repairs in progress."
