HU76 is owned by David Williams who tells us:

"The car is now in France and racing in the UK and Europe successfully.

It is to pretty much the original specification and has a standard Hewland Mk8 gearbox and 2-litre Pinto engine.

The history of the car is interesting. Originally sold to a race team in Holland, then had a period at a racing school there. At some stage it came back to the UK and was converted to a road car.... in bright yellow!! Then it was bought by the previous owner and restored back to race spec in Somerset. It then was sold in January 2018 and moved to Le Mans in France to be race ready and now wins races!"
