1978 LOLA T492 HU30

T492 HU30 curently resides in Canada where owner, Douglas Lorraine, has been racing her:

"I finally accumulated some information on my Lola T492 which I purchased July 1987 from a Phillip Doris in San Leandro, Cailifornia. He had advertised the car in a magazine called OnTrack. The car had been raced at Sears Point, and Laguna Seca in regional races. I raced the car at Westwood in Vancouver, and Seattle International Raceway. We liked to endurance race with the car. I came in second in the six hours of Seattle in 1991, and second in the seven hours of Westwood. The car also raced for Team San Diego and Team Burnaby in the American City Racing League. I have recently restored the car to its original color condition with its original transmission and engine. I raced it at Mosport (outside of Toronto which is a 3600 kilometer tow from Alberta) this past summer where Lola Cars was the featured marque for the fiftieth anniversary of Lola Cars."
