T440 HU9 owner Jerry Bernheimer tells us of its history:
"The original owner (1976) is unknown might have been in Northern California and HU9 was sold to the second owner in Southern California in 1977. I have the logbooks for 1977 thru 1983 when the second owner knocked a rear corner off the car and there it sat in a garage for over 25 years. The log books (2) show races at Riverside, Holtville, Willow Springs and some tracks that are no longer open.
I have attached a few pictures of the car on a first outing in over 20 years at a test day last month following a full restoration."
