HU7 at the 1974 Kyalami 6 Hours.

The HU7 Chassis Plate comes from a T290 Jo Bonnier Car.
T294 HU7 was built by Heini Mader, who became Lola's European Agent on Bonnier's death, especially for Corrado Manfredini initially as a Hillclimb Car, this was because the 2-litre chassis was lighter than the 3-litre.

Manfredini ran the car in some events, the biggest one being the 1974 Kyalami 6 Hrs.

The history of Lola T294 HU7: 1974:

built at Lola Cars as a T290 with preperation for a Ford DFV.
Heini Mader completed the car, presumably updated to a T294 spec, for Jolly Club Switzerland.

It then competed in some races with Corrado Manfredini.

We have a lot of original photos of the delivery and construction of the vehicle from 1974.
We also have a lot of documents, letters and logs from the time. Likewise regarding the restoration in 1992.
Also there is a confirmation letter from Mader and Staub about the reason for chassis no. 7.

This was the only T294 built as a 3-litre Car!
