T204/HU103 is now owned by Ron Guppy in Australia, he tells us about its recent history:
"I bought the car from Carroll Browfied in California 7 years ago, it was incredibley original, frame no. am19* and both engine and gearbox all original numbers as per the Hass invoice.
Carroll owned it for about 10 years but only used it about a dozen times in that period the prev owner, a Burt Curtis, owned it for about 3 years sympathetically restored it but never used it. It went through a couple owners including a doctor who evidently had it stored in his garage for about 22 years.
The orginal invoice to Haas was the 29-8-1971, the engine no. is 70/004L0, the gearbox is H8-360."
* am stands for Arch Motors to whom Lola sub-contracted spaceframe construction when the factory was at full capacity.
