MK5A BRJ56 is now owned by Geoff Richardson who tells us.
"We purchased this car in 2000 from Sweden and it is the original Piko Troberg car that raced very succesfully throughout Europe in 1963. Afer an extensive and careful restoration the car has been out campaigning again successfully driven by James Claridge in the Millers Oil UK FJ Championship, finishing runner up in class in 2007."
Troberg took several good results with his MK5A including a win at Karlskoga in the Velodromloppet in May 1963 as well as 3rd in the Stockholmsloppet held at the Skarpnäck circuit in the same month. Other highlights included a second at Aspern and 4th at the Lotteria di Monza both in June followed by a second at Falkenberg in August:
