The T252 was the 1972 update of the T250, while not being very successful in Europe, only winning one round in the Formel Super Vau GTX Championship, it took seven wins in the USA over two seasons.

There are no details in the Lola Heritage Archives as to what the updates were but since the chassis numbers of the T252 were contiguous to the T250 this usually indicates the changes were relatively minor.
