THE LOLA T222

The T222 on display at the London Racing Car Show.
The T222 was the production version of the T220, it used the longer chassis introduced in the latter part of the 1970 Can-Am season. Visually the obvious difference was the rear bodywork had two strakes that flared upwards to which the rear wing was attached.
The T222 was a top ten runner on occasions but with no truly top team/driver combination involved it's difficult to judge how good it actually was.
