The final iteration of the T150 series was the 1970 T153 design, it's most obvious change from the previous cars was, following the outlawing of 4WD by USAC, that the new car was a two-wheel-drive design. Other changes included a larger fuel capacity as it would use a turbocharged Ford that was thirstier than the turbocharged Offy, revised suspension pick-up points and geometry and a new nose design with longitudinal strakes and radiator vents on the upper surface.

Only a single car was built and supplied to the Penske team for Mark Donohue and it was once again a competitive proposition with a best result of second in the 1970 Indy 500 when, ironically, it lost to Al Unser's Colt which was heavily based on the 1968 T150.
