Nick Gurney kindly sent a photo he took at Brands Hatch on the 30th March 1970.
The car is Mike Hailwood’s Formula 5000 T190 and standing at the rear of the car to the right is Eric Broadley. Clearly F5000 was an important part of the Lola business of that era to warrant the presence of the Company principal.
Below Nick's picture is a shot from Lola Heritage of Mike Hailwood on the same day, racing to finish second in Round 2 of the Guards F5000 Championship.
