NEW LOOK LOLA LMP1 AT LE MANS

Rebellion Racing will introduce this weekend, during the Le Mans Test Day on Sunday 24th of April, a new upgraded aerodynamic package on both of the team’s Lola-Toyota cars. The front of the car is based on a brand new concept, with new front lights and bodywork changes that will allow the team’s Lola-Toyota cars to use the larger front tyres available from Michelin. The rear of the team’s Lola-Toyota cars will adopt 'swan neck’ rear wing supports as the main visible change.

Both the #12 and #13 Lolas will run next Sunday at Le Mans 24 Hours circuit with the new aero kit.

Lola cars has designed and produced this new aero kit for Rebellion Racing. The work started at the end of last year based on Rebellion Racing’s requirements and desire to improve the overall package of their cars.

Bart Hayden, Rebellion Racing Team Manager: "Sunday’s Le Mans Test Day is a rare occasion to test the cars on the Le Mans 24 Hours track, so it is very important for us to have both cars fitted with the new aero kit, as scheduled. We have a detailed programme of work for each of the two cars to gain as much information as possible on the new aerodynamics and compare the on-track performance to the simulations. The drivers will also have a lot of work to get through with the addition of the wider front tyres from Michelin.

"Once again, the guys at the workshop are the unsung heros of the moment, they have again put so much into getting both cars ready for next weekend. I would like also to thank our partners at Lola Cars who have produced all the parts, suspension and bodywork to schedule."
