On November 14th, 2009, Lola T212 HU29 won it's 5th consecutive Corinthian Vintage Auto racing championship at Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas.

Jeff Anderson and Pete Hoekenga, sharing driving responsibilities outran all the other cars in Group 1, which included Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros, Porsches, and other FIA Sports racers. During the final points race, Lola number 29 started at the back of a field of 30 cars and passed them all to take the checkered flag while setting a lap record at TWS for 2 litre sports racers.
