If you would all like to look at the main site (or if you're lazy click here: http://www.lolaheritage.co.uk/scrapbook/023/023.htm) you can read all about the exploits of our very own Johan at the recent Can-Am Anniversary event at Elkhart Lake.

It seems certain that thanks to his actions he may well have saved the life of the driver of a McLaren M8F who had an unfortunate accident during the parade through the Town Centre at Elkhart Lake.

Well done Johan :D.

Great story!
The night of the accident, I was driving back to the motel in Fond du Lac. I got a cell phone call from a buddy still at the track, he starts by telling me he saw two people in a golf cart that looked like they were dressed for Halloween, all caked with mud and straw sticking out of their hair! He finally found out that they had been in a swamp! I'm so glad they were not injured, the McLaren will soon be put right again I'm sure.

My only regret from the weekend is I didn't get back to talk more with Johan!
