Am I right in thinking this car began life as a Lola? If so, which one and what happened to it?

But the De Cadenets were based on Lola T380/390, weren't they?

"This extraordinary creation, (The ADA Group C car, ADA-01), was based largely on the chassis of an old 2-litre open-top Group 6 Lola show car-circa 1974, fitted with a 3 litre Ford-Cosworth DFV and clothed in specially designed GRP bodywork, fabricated by Marchant and Cox of Hastings"

-Ian Briggs, "Golden Era-The History of Group C and GTP"-Gryfon Publishers, 2006.

So it was a T290 chassis, I guess. Does the factory know? I'll ask Chris Crawford.

When Ecurie Ecosse returned to sportscar racing in 1984, their C2 car was based on a Lola De Cadenet powered by Cosworth.

The ADA car was a Lola t390 tub ( factory show car unit0 fitted out with T380 uprights bellhousing purcjhased from de Cadanet who had dispensed with these parts when he built his LM4 car and utilised T280 parts
This car was sold to a Polish racer who fitted diffeent engines but the car was crashed and a write off circa 87

The ecosse 84 Gp C car was built utilising the De cadanet LM3 car which was bought form Dorset racing by Ray Mallock
They used this car to build the 1st Ecosse
This car was written off

The LM3 car was a car built by de cad for 1976 LM using John Thompson built chassis and Lola t380 components he had

De Cad had used the Lola T380 HU1 car in 75 & sold the car to Dorset racing for 76LM

LM3 was later sold to John Cooper for LM in 78? but DNQ
The following year Cooper entered the car as SG lola in the colours of the english flag of St George
Cooper used the car for 2 years then it went tp Dorset racing for 1 season then to Ray Mallock for the Ecosse
