Lola 280 -286 & 290-298 phots

Postby driftwood » Sat May 27, 2006 2:05 pm

Hi
do you guys have any280-286 & 290 -298 fotos kicking around to be posted
i am collecting various photos for my own reference & ideally i would like period shots with the body off

so if you have any can i have them either posted here or PM me for sending to me as electric copies or the real McCoy on old fashioned paper!!

i bought some edwards & bonnier pics from memorabilia shop recently wth chevron b19 shots
i can let u have some samples ( have no scanner- i take a foto of the foto!! )- copyright may be an issue?

i also have a source for japanese Grand champion race photos as well
He has listed some shots on aerogi website and been very helpful with my own lola 290 GC car history that i was researching providing many photos of car over the 10 years the car raced

I am restoring the car in its final 78-81 configuration and not the original 290 body set up as i had no spare $$ for the new body and mods required to restore it to the 72-75 set up- ive worked it is easier and cheaper to buy another 290 if i want a 290 shape car!!

driftwood:

I will get you some photo's of my t292's tub if that is what you want. I also am trying to establish the (1973-80) history of my car (HU49- see earlier post) and perhaps some of your photos might be helpful.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Isn't that HU22, from when Nick Mason owned it? I recall it was painted like that to promote Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall" album...
