212 HU-19 INFO?

Postby zapparacing » Mon Dec 18, 2006 10:48 pm

Does anybody have information regarding T-212, HU-19? I believe it's Duke Johnson's car?

No, but I'm glad you posted because it made me remember about the spinners.

I'm sorry Johan, you're going to have to explain that one :D.

I can tell you HU19 was originally delivered to Jo Bonnier, invoice date 12 February 1971.

Ahh yes...the spinners. Well take your time, I just sold my 212, but loved it so much I am looking at another, as well as a IIIB, both here in the States. I imagine they will fit both the 212 and T70 since they are comming off of you IIIB. So take your time, but I most likely will have a set made up when you do yours. Anyway that brings me back to the topic of HU-19. I know that it was delivered to Bonnier, it's just the history after that. If you, or anyone else, have any further information, that would be wonderful.

I spoke with the experts at Lola about the spinners and they said there
was some variation in the thread style on the shafts and that there were a few styles and sizes. It is not one size fits all. Please get a IIIb !
