SL76/149

Postby Johan » Thu Jan 26, 2006 4:41 pm

I went through some old paperwork folders last night attempting to clean off my desk.
I found some papers that belong with T70 Mk 3b SL76/149 including canceled checks, bill of sales ($18,000 !), insurance papers, etc. from 1980 or so.
Does anyone know where this car is today ? It is the same car that Bob Akin had, as well as Joel Finn,C.S. Jones , and the same one listed for sale a few years ago on "962.com", and the Hudson Wire car.
I would like to mail this paperwork to the current owner.
Thanks,
Johan

Johan,
A guy in Australia now owns it.

They may be at the Phillip Is historic races in a few weeks.

I will try and pass the information onto them.

Some nice pics there Pete. Must have missed you when you were in our garage.SL76/149 looked really nice. Had a good chat with the guys running it. We had a crappy weekend with Carlos' car. Fuse went on the grid for first race and cut the lift pumps , so ran out of fuel on the parade lap, and serious miss fire in the pouring rain on Monday, so retired to the dry. Oh well. Roll on Oporto in July..
