Its an "important" car history wise raced by Edwards then dorset racing
however its been "americanised" with too much chrome parts
Roll cages where never chrome nickled in those days that started on 294 cars
The paint work is typical amerian style with stripe and gold numbers
its always easy to tell usa car against UK EEC car
on paper its had al ot of work carried out but as the say in advert
its concours
There is no patina of the race car left its either all polished out or all new
Its not my cup of tea but i know the americans love the razza mataz of the UK/EEC race histry and the shiney cars
Price is cheap to us with £$ exchange maybe a bit high for USA market?
will make a nice race car for someone who is looking for a car but us Brits would repaint the car in period colours for Edwards or Dorset racing for starters and probably redo the roll hoop in Grey or balck for the 71/72 period
I was offered 210/212 last year in the Wa area for similar money but im a 290 man and my eys are on 2 cars 1 early model and 1 later serial # but original condition untouched 25 yr car
"is it in yet" said the mechanic to the apprentice
