Hello Wolfgang, I'll see if I can find out what the Lola Chassis record says. Driftwood is right that for many types Lola seem not to have built a number 13 but they did sometimes especially on the early cars.

Yes, driftwood, this is very a interest aspect!
I read in the book "LOLA the illustratedhistory 1957-1977" from Jon Starkey & Ken Wells: Page 120: ".. Guy Edwards ran a works-blessed Barclay T290 (his need for about eight tubs the previous year had obviously worked!) ....

Sorry, completely forgot to answer to answer this , Glyn has checked the factory records and there wasn't a number 13 built.

Gerald.

yes but is the car 290 or 280
I believe he is trying to tell us its 280 hu1 not 290 hu1
the car has 280 front anti roll bar brakes
he runs the car without chassis plate

we al know HU1 and HU2 280 cars where Ecurie Bonnier cars and JoBo was killed in 1 of these cars the other car is in USA before that it was in sweden

Autosport 13. Januar 1972, page 10, print a story from Buenos Aires. Jeff Hutchinson wrote: ".... Because the race is run so early in the year, the number of true 3-litre cars was disappointing with only the new Lola T280 anything really new. The cassis is very similar to original T210 construction with a monocoque centre section running back to the rear bulkhead, on to which is bolted a tubular sub-frame. This enables the car to be simply converted to either 2- or 3-litre form while the rest remains the same ....."

You see, its not so easy to find out its a T290 or T280!
