New wheels for Lola T332 F5000

Postby koennecke » Tue Sep 26, 2006 3:36 am

We are restoring (for competition) a Lola T332 F5000 and the original wheels are not any good. Does anyone have any suggestions on sourcing some new wheels for this vehicle?
Any help would be great!
Thanks,

BBS wheels are on one of my cars and I could probably get a part number.
Lola wheels are good but try to find the ones that are held together with 12 bolts instead of 6 bolts (or maybe it is 18 instead of 12- There are two bolts between each spoke as well as one at the spoke).
Finally, I have good used ones, but I am in the USA and would only sell them if you looked at them first and could find no other.
Joenbloed(sp?) wheels are still available as well at least for the rear. Do you have the original Formula 5000 mag rear wheels ? They make a good "roll around" wheel.
They are getting rare.

If you have the BBS part number that would be great. I have contacted Jonbloed, but am awaiting a reply.

The center will be the hard part, and it is BBS part number E71.
I will need to turn the wheel around to see the other side to see if there are any other numbers or take measurements, but I was in my bathrobe
and everytime I reached up to turn the wheel, my robe came up too far and I felt silly. Image

Mike Barnby at Barnby Wheels in the UK makes a Lola look alike.
Excelent quality and they look correct.
There is a picture on his website

Thanks everyone for your help.
I have contacted Jonbloed, BBS USA and MB.

Bill Jongbloed is not associated with Jongbloed wheels any longer but has started making wheels again under his new company Aerotek. Here is his information.
