Dont get me started on the Orange GT Coupe, what a cracker...
Its reminded me of one dilema I have for mine, which is attaching the gullwing doors, I have the hinges but no idea how they attach into the roof. The must be some support in there. I also have a small shock absorber spring arrangement which is utilised somehow?

I have failed miserably to get pictures of this as I only seem to find 3B's at race meetings. Any pics of this area would be greatly appreciated.

Apologies for thread hijack
Cheers

I hate to take up Olivers thread space so I'll start a new thread.
Sorry Oliver.

There must be a problem with my pm's  that nobody is geting them.So I will post the questions here and see if I can get some help. And sorry johan if I was rude but other people got my pm's so I thought that it must have been you ignoring me. Anyway like I said no blood shed here.Sorry fans.

Question 1. Spyder

Johan, were did you get the blue 61 front clip and how much are they?

Q2.

I need a mesurment from the far point passenger seat to far point driver seat. I also need to have the seat hight from the outside bottom"Floor" to the top. You will have to make this mesurment with door open. Im drawing up the frame on Cad and need this to confirm my messurments. If you can help johan would be greatly appreciated.

regards john

It has turned out that the frame is going to be totally different in regards to using a modified RF chassis. This will be totally custom so the car will sit lower. Pictures comming soon of the frame build. material is ready and as soon as I get confirming messurments, the build begins

Your early post mentioned that you had several extra. I was asuuming that you had them made up ... in addition that the original clips had a short life.

Thanks gerald!!

Frame is 90% complete. This is a trail fit of the rear clip. The roll bar was a little high but will be corrected later. Next is the suspension and skin.

High guys!!! Yes made some progress,,,I scraped the old body..just to flimsy. Just recieved a top line new body from original molds. Currently the body is being fitted to the frame . Once theis is conmpleted, alum..panels are being cut and finished..then off to powder coat. I should have the car in 6 weeks for engine install and paint. I'm just pondering on what color combo im going to use. This is a troubling choice. The engine is a original Ford Hipo with original Weber manifold and carb setup hooked to a ZF. this will be a strickly track car. Any input on color combo's would be welcome. I'm leaning towards guardsman blue with white stripes... And for the guys on the Gtr40 forum..My Gt40 Rf is running perfect with the intake system form the jerk from down under. I can't complain though..it was free :)
I will post photo's soon of the Spyder.

I bet I know who would like to buy the original body....
As far as color, the sky is the limit. Blue would be nice.
How did you get a free intake manifold ?
Post pictures of your new body (the car body that is).
