HU21...t86/90...

Postby RIGNOS » Wed Sep 16, 2015 1:38 pm

Hello,
Just registered on the forum, let me just introduce myself and my lovely Lolita.
French, living in Paris and Provence, maried with HU21 t86/90 since begining 2014.
I didn't have the full history of HU21, probably dedicated first to Sport2000 championship, but she has been for sure prepared and equipped, mid 90´s, with 1600 Honda Vetec engine for hill climb tracks. She participated to hill climb tracks in Spain , then in France under a Group C3 FISA homologation in 1994/1995 years.
After 20 years, but thanks to participation to very limited numbers of events, tracks days, that help her to keep beauty and aspect, but time come for sale...!
She was for me....and during last 18 months I have brought a lot of care and love to help her to find again the tracks...
Engaged in the newly created SportProtosCup french championship , under FFSA 2015 series, she got 3rd place in Dijon and wins in Nogaro in his class...

Hoping that I wiil be accepted first by all of you, that i will not appear as too ignorant through my questions i will ask, that my knowledge will increase quickly to be able to be recognized and to take part with you to the whole Lola romance...
Many thanks...with my best regards.

Hello to all Lola’s lovers ...
Some news from my Lolita,
The year 2016 and the unexpected meeting of the engineer Philippe Houel Head of PhegaSport workshop was put to good use for a Sport2000 configuration.
Beyond the fact that this return to a perfect original configuration was possible because the chassis HU21 had not undergone any change when mounting the Honda engine, it is the meeting with this man known for his human exceptional qualities and know-how, endangered qualities in the field of motor sport ..., which encouraged me to engage in this expensive way back to the origin. The progress and the quality of the motor retrofit site were quickly followed by a repair of original body contoured and lightened entrusted to the talented Christian Leguay plastician and pilot.
It is therefore with its Ford Pinto 2 litres engine and its streamlined body that HU21 can today reappear in broad daylight on the circuits ... in its birth configuration.

Help!
I am looking for a picture, photo spotted during JR S2/3 period between 1983 -1990 that show a t86/90 equipped with the triangular extension on top safety roll bar.
Surprisingly, ( this extension is basically for safety reason…) I am forced to deliver this picture to FIA -trough FFSA, to comply with their requirements to obtain the PTH.
