Paul Collier would like to correct a few things about the lola T70 of Max Wilsön
in 1968 I was working at Lola cars slough one of Lolas staff asked me if I would
like to work for a lola owner, thats how I came to work for Max Wilson at our first
meeting he said he wanted a all British race car and not a anglo american!!!!!!!!
and if I could fit the BRM V12 in to the T70 (I gulped and said yes) so I moved
Digs to Cranleigh Surry and started put the BRM into the Lola and 2 weeks later
Max said he is going to Barbados for the winter and it would be best if I take
Lola to his brother in law Alain Mc kechnie,by Ledbury where their is a better
workshop It was there; I heard different regs for the prototype cars I rang Max
and said it would be a good idea to grafft a can am body on to the T70
he said ok, It was NOT Lola cars that transformed the T70 with a BRM V12
and Can Am Body To become the P70 BRM But I.
