LG 500 Jig.

Postby B-C » Tue Dec 23, 2008 9:38 am

Hello all.

I did have a problem to find a Hewland LG 500 fork-setting jig when I has to change gear ratios on my Lola T 165.

Hope someone can help me.

Merry Christmas.

Best regards

I am from Denmark, live in Copenhagen.

I will like to know where I can buy one, if some did know where to buy the Jig :?:
I have changes the gears before for the race, but it will be lot easily to make it right first time whit the Jig.

B-C,
You really only need the jig to set the forks when the forks have been removed. At the track, you can change gears without removing the forks, so nothing really needs to be aligned again.

I use an old pinion shaft.

Hello David

Thanks for the answer, I will look after a old pinion shaft.

I have removed the fork for check the selector rod after a racer is was very tight to shift.

Cheers
