5.8 LOLA Mk3BN CHEVY

Postby Slothead » Wed Aug 23, 2006 7:08 am

Hello there,

let me introduce first. My name is Mike and I'm from Luxembourg. As a slotracing enthousiast I will participate in the IMCA Modelcar Euro Nats 2007 in Copenhagen. For this event I'll have to built a 5.8 LOLA Mk3BN CHEVY. My big problem is that I can't find any pictures of the car with the #8 which (may someone correct me) raced in 1966 or 1967 by Jerry Grant (don't know if this is correct either).

It would be very nice if I could find some help and maybe pictures in this forum.

Kind regards to all,
Mike

Hi Johan,

well the Euro Nats 2007 will be contested with 1966 and 1967 CanAm cars. The organisator of the championship reservers himself the rights to "distribute" the modells among the participants. This means that I was told to built this car. Scale is 1/24.

Cheers,
Mike

I see Mike.
That car does not have many unique features other than the paint job.
It is a very "standard" T70.

Hi Johan,

thanks again for your informations.

But now I've a (for me) impossible question :?: : would it be possible to find somewhere the names and maybe the color codes (don't know if they already worked with codes in '67) of the colors used to paint this Lola T70. The more realistic the colors are, the more points I'll earn in the "Concours d'élégance", a voting of the most beautiful car.

Cheers,
Mike
