Hello out there,
I found a lola T 296/1976 Chassis Nr.: H.U. 06 and need some information from a Lola specialist.
Does anybody know somethingf about history of the car?
The seller told me the car raced in the 70s in nederlands, then for some years in Austrian Hillclimbs and won the championship for 3 times, the driver was Hermann Waldy from Austria.Since 1990 the car stood and was not raced, but restored.
It looks like that the car is very modified.
Thanks a lot for some information.

Hello Bernd, there is something wrong with that chassis number, the T296 numbers continued on from the T290/T292/T294 series so the T296 numbers run from HU80 to HU88.

As far as I know.. Hermann Waldy drove Lola Sports 2000 in 1988 (http://www.euromontagna.com/driver.php?lng=1&id_driver=74)
I prefer gr. 6 and C Lola Cars...
