There is a picture of a T290 in the book "Die Aussenseiter .." written by Hans Treml, Nina Treml. Know someone more about the history of this car?? The picture show a green car, starting number # 117. :?:

Mr Urs Hauenstein think the picture show the T290 in the race at Hockenheim May 25, 1975. A race for the Swiss Championship. But he is not sure that Mr Blank (the founder of the swiss magazine "powerslide") was the owner.

CAR IS T290 ROLL HOOP WITH 1973 EXTENSION ADDED AND T290 TAIL WITH NO REAR WHEEL GUARD
SO ITS POSSIBLE THIS CAR DID NOT RACE IN EURO 2 LITRE RACES IN 73 DUE TO THIS TAIL NOT BEING LEGAL

look at roll hoop
see the side form driver to the middle slope bar to chassis
this is the originak 1972 roll hoop
then the rules changed so the roll hoop had to be full width NOT 3/4 width so most 72 t290 cars welded on the extension
also 1972 colour was grey for roll hoop
t292 car had full width hoop colour was black

1972 tail has no mud guard 1973 rules must have rear flap to stop spray from wheels

only 1 car was supplied new in green body and that went to japan
as the driver is swiss its possible the car was Mader owned/supplied car from Jobo team?
Back in those days cars did not easily pass over to other countries due to taxation and import duties

could be this helpful? - http://www.euromontagna.com/results.php?id_race=2335&lng=1

as far as i know Arthur Blank used Chevron B19 in 1972 (http://www.euromontagna.com/driver.php?lng=1&id_driver=4265)
I prefer gr. 6 and C Lola Cars...
