LOLA T70: Birthday present!

Postby d_herrtage » Wed Oct 24, 2007 12:36 pm

This might seem a strange request, but I am looking for a massive piece of help from a Lola T70 owner!

It is my father's 60th birthday this year and I would love to organise a ride for him (a drive would be even better!- although un realisic i know) in a Lola T70. This is his favourite car since childhood, so if I could arrange such a thing, it would make an old man very happy!

Unfortunately, these aren't as readily available as the ferrari driving days, so I'm looking to try and organise through a very generous club member who maybe partaking in a track day or something.

If you are one of these people who may be able to help (i would of course work something out money wise), I would be very grateful if you could let me know.

Thanks

You didn't say where you are located.

From my experience, there are very few events where passengers are allowed, - at least vintage race weekends.

More common open track days allow passengers, but most cars that run there are street cars.

At Infineon (Sears Point) in California the CRG group runs a fall event where I'm told you can buy a ride in a race car, the money is for charity groups.
