LOLA MK6

Postby GLP » Wed May 02, 2007 2:17 pm

Hello all Id like to introduce myself.Im in the USA and have been a lola fan since the first time I wrenched on a genuine GT40 in '68 as a boy helping two gentlemen from NY that broke down .I helped them replace the engine over a three day period, mostly I handed wrenches and asked alot of questions .

I decided from then on I wanted to be around exotic cars ,over the years I have worked on everything,Muiras to Stratos to D types.I had a restoration shop for twenty years and restored all sorts of european sportscars .I have learned to build chassis and the english wheel.

Now Im in florida and semi retired and tawsing about a MK6 one off for personal use.So Ill be skulling about and finalizing my replica plans.
Just would be nice to use a modern gear box of a make I have yet to decide on.But will have to see what the replica GT40s are currently using.
