Hmm a bit of a flurry going on
.
Robin, you are correct with Al Unser Snr. and George Bignotti at Indianapolis but wrong about the person on the left. To be honest I would be very surprised if anybody recognised him but he does have a very close link to the car. I'm surprised nobody has recognised the guy in the centre. It's not Mike Spence, at least I hope it's not but allowing for the purpose this photo was used for I think my identification is correct. I have to say I nearly didn't use this as I thought it was too easy but there again because I knew the use of the picture it did give me a huge clue.
Glyn, I'm not sure if you are eligible but since I didn't discuss any of these with you I suppose I could stretch a point but if anyone claims its a fix you're on your own
.
Yes Darren it's certainly a Vauxhall, have you considered any sort of therapy regarding your fixation with recognising the wheel arch of a 40 year old Vauxhall? It looks like the car my old next-door neighbour had which I think was a Victor, I know it rode like a blancmange and a 100 yard journey could introduce car sickness.
Gerald.
