14/03/07 - CHAROUZ LOLA-JUDD TESTS
The Charouz Racing System Lola-Judd LMP1 car undertook its shakedown test at Pembrey in South Wales today in preparation for its first public test at Paul Ricard next weekend.

The Lola-Judd B07/10 competed 38 laps trouble free laps, conducting the usual systems checks.

Charouz Racing System Lola B07/10-Judd will race in this seasons Le Mans 24 Hours and in the full Le Mans Series. The car will also take in the Petit Le Mans race at Road Atlanta and the season finale of the ALMS at Laguna Seca. The teams drivers will be Stefan Mucke, former Minardi F1 racer Alex Yoong and last seasons Masters F3000 champion Jan Charouz.

Sam Hignett - Team Manager

"We came here to ensure that all the systems worked effectively before we went to do the first serious testing at Paul Ricard. Mechanically the car was terrific and the new Judd 5.5 litre ran faultlessly. We achieved everything that we set out to do."

Stefan Mucke - Race Driver

"It was a very good day for us today. Very productive. The guys at Lola and Judd have been terrific and I got a good instant feeling for the package. Although we didn't do any serious running the car already feels like I have 50% more downforce than the DTM car I drove last year. I am very excited about the test next week and I think we can score some good results in the Le Mans Series and also at the 24 Hours.”
