THE LOLA T86/90

pic
The 1985 Sports 2000 design, the T598 had gone well in the US so it was not surprising that the majority of the cars, fourteen, went Stateside with the remaining six staying in the UK. There were several changes from the previous year's design notably new rear suspension and more aerodynamic bodywork.

The full technical details of the T86/90 can be found in the Lola T86/90 Press Release below.

The new design was successful in the US with Steve Knapp taking the SCCA Pro-Sports 2000 East title and it would prove popular in Historic racing taking several Championships.
