THE LOLA T594

pic
The T594 saw Lola abandon the UK Sports 2000 series as, of the fifteen cars built, three went to Switzerland, one to Sweden and the remaining eleven to the USA where they raced with some success in the SCCA Sports 2000 championships.

There were two main changes to the T594 from the T592, the brake discs were now ventilated, four-pot calipers were fitted and at the rear the discs were moved outboard. There was a new bodywork shape with a re-profiled nose and the previously bare aluminium chassis panels on the side were now employing fibreglass ducting. The fairing on the roll hoop was now integral with the top piece and not separately attached and no longer covered the entire hoop, just the lower section.
