T8830-02 is currently residing in Australia with its owner Brenton Griguol.
The Larrousse & Calmels Formula One team was formed in 1987 by the French duo of ex-racing driver Gérard Larrousse and businessman Didier Calmels and in that year they commissioned Lola to build a F1 car, the LC87 (T87/30). Powered by the normally aspirated Cosworth DFZ V8 and based on the T87/50 the 1987 F3000 design it scored three sixth places in the hands of Philippe Alliot.
For 1988 Lola produced the LC88 (T88/30) an evolutionary design, the most noticeable change being a push-rod front suspension as opposed to the 1987 pull-rod. Five cars were built and results were adequate with Dalmas taking two seventh places in chassis 02 at Monaco and Detroit.
