The next owner was Kurtis Chandler of Phoenix, AZ who gave it a minor refreshening before starting a new career in a local Formula Ford series.
In 2010 HU05 was acquired by Lindsay Porter in New Zealand, the car is in very original condition but does show it's age of twenty plus years on its original blue gelcoat. All of the original logbooks, Carl Haas sales brochures, Lola data sheets and SCCA homologation paperwork are with the car.
